My Story
First of all, THANKS DAVE! Without your help and continued support and encouragement, I don't think I would have been able to do it on my own!
Not only have I lost weight, but I have more energy, confidence, and in general feel much better about my health and body. For those people out there wanting to lose weight or gain another level in their own training workout - King Fitness is the way to go. The beauty of King Fitness is that Dave can adjust to whatever level of fitness / training that best fits your needs and lifestyle - from a professional athlete to a busy executive needing to lose a few pounds or even a single mom wanting to stay in shape. I had tried several different weight loss "systems" before and been somewhat successful, but never seemed able to maintain. With King Fitness, the results have not only been easy to maintain, but I have the ability to adjust and tailor Dave's system and work at a pace that is comfortable to me. What I like most about Dave's approach is that it is simple and easy to follow - no complicated systems - just a common sense, straight forward approach. I believe what has helped me the most is that it has been a CHANGE OF LIFESTYLE and not just some "short-term" weight loses game with lots of tricks that have "short-term" effects. Lots of people hear "change of lifestyle" and immediately back off and get worried that it will be too hard, and don't think they can or want to change their ways - thinking they will never be able to eat another piece of chocolate or sweets ever again. That is just not true with King Fitness. I have still been able to eat whatever I want, I have learned how to be smarter about it and do it in sensible, moderate amounts. I guess you could say it changed my paradigm about eating and being healthy.
Okay, enough about Dave's process - what were the results you ask?! In 3 1/2 months time I was able to lose 35 pounds, and still going! How was that possible? I just followed Dave's fitness plan that he helped me outline based upon what I WANTED for myself - not some inflexible, preset plan. My initial goal was to lose about 2 pounds a week. Dave helped me build a plan based simply on watching what I was eating, and did not include exercise due to my work schedule. However, I realized if I could be successful without adding exercise, imagine how much more successful I could be by adding some exercise I enjoyed! So I soon added about 2-3 hours worth of shooting baskets (basketball) a week, and I began losing 3 pounds a week! That best part is that there is no set routine or number of exercises - YOU CHOSE YOUR OWN and only if you want to!! So not only do you control your own new healthy "lifestyle" or system, but you also get to choose whether or not you add some exercise - EXERCISE YOU CHOOSE. I guess my point is that your SUCCESS IS IN YOUR HANDS - you actually control your own destiny, and the best part is that you have your own personal EXPERT guiding you, coaching you, supporting you, and encouraging you the entire time! Oh, I better mention the one down side to the whole thing - has been expensive for me...I have had to buy an entire new wardrobe! I lost over two pant sizes, and all my belts were too big! Seriously though, it has been worth it! While Dave tailors your plan to meet your needs and specific goals, it will require you to be committed to your goals and be honest with yourself - you are in charge of your results! With Dave's system, and his dedicated, personal commitment to help you become healthier and reach your goals - you just can't go wrong!
