Speed and Agility Many of us desire to perform better in our respective sports whether we are weekend warriors or semi-pro athletes. Cross training at King IV Fitness will take you to completely different levels of performance. The human body has an amazing capacity for improvement. I have seen a 77 year old woman run the 400 meters so please don’t hide behind the age thing. We will have you perform scaled down versions of professional workouts and let you build up to fulfill your potential. I am a decathlete myself and have worked out with professional athletes and coaches who were kind enough to pass on their knowledge of strength, speed, agility. Olympic lifting, parachutes, hills, intervals, sprint drills, sleds, plyometrics, jump soles, and medicine balls are just some of the techniques and toys we will employ to make you FASTER, STRONGER, and BETTER than you were before. We will time you in all major categories, including the 40M, the 100M, the 400M, and the Mile. We will record your vertical jump and your broad jump. Then we will work to improve all of them. Track and Field The Decathlon consists of 10 events that include the 100 Meters, the Long Jump, the Shot Put, the High Jump, the 400 Meters, the 110 High Hurdles, the Discus, the Pole Vault, the Javelin, and the 1500 Meters. I have learned these events from some of the best coaches in the Nation and would like to offer Event Training or Total Decathlon Training to any of my clients who are interested. I will have you setting personal records or PRs that date back to your high school days. There is absolutely nothing like it. I will find you track meets to test your skill when you feel ready. Special Events Weddings, Class Reunions, Vacations, etc….Get into shape before you embark on these PICTURE LADEN activities!!!!!! Heart Rate Monitor All clients will wear a POLAR brand fitness training watch and chest strap during every exercise session. This watch is widely renowned for its accuracy and stability in tracking “Heart Beats Per Minute” and “Total Calories Burned” based on your height, weight, age, gender, max heart rate, and fitness level. A POLAR will be issued to every client to use for the duration of their Training Program (1 week to 6 months). This device increases the safety of the individual, but it also has an interesting psychological effect when your “Calories Burned” is staring you in the face for an entire workout. I dare you not to push yourself just a little bit harder.
