Is 20 lbs In 20 Days For Real?
Losing 20 lbs in 20 days. Is it possible? Can you do it?
I want to go over the whole concept of that and I’m gonna give you the facts behind what is necessary for that to happen.
So let’s look at a guy. He’s up over 200 pounds. He knew he had a lot of weight to lose. He’s a former athlete, and he had some muscle mass. He’s got some fast twitch muscle.
20 pounds in 20 days is a total reality, for a dude who’s over 200 pounds, who should be somewhere in the 160s to 170s. It’s gonna come off fairly quickly.
Now, if you’re a woman who’s 5’6″, 200 pounds. What does that look like?
It’s gonna come off easier than it is if you were 150-pound woman who also wanted to lose 20 pounds in 20 days. It’s going to be a little bit easier for somebody who’s moving more gravity.
So This Is What’s Necessary, And This Is What Happens.
Let’s take for instance, somebody who weighs 200 pounds.
Let’s say that they have not been eating so well. A lot of extra carbohydrates. If you’ll notice, the word behind carbo is hydrate, which means you’re gonna shove a lot of extra water into your cells. So a lot of people feel that it’s a sensation of being bloated.
I promise a lot of you ladies, if you have the muffin top, a lot of it is not even fat. A lot of that is excess water that you’re carrying.
On the Fat Shocker, they’re not losing 10 pounds of actual fat in 14 days. 60% of that is excess water that we don’t need to be carrying around. It’s just that we have it on us like a camel because of how we’ve been eating, so the first thing you have to do is regulate your water.
The first five days, you eat clean. You control your carbohydrates. You control your sugars. You don’t eat in restaurants. You control your sodium. Holy crap, Whoosh! Five to eight pounds, like that. Maybe even 10 pounds like that. And they say “That’s not real weight.”
Now, I know what people mean when they say it’s just water weight. They’re saying, that you’re just pushing out all your water so that you’re water depleted, so that you’re dehydrated. You don’t have any water. So as soon as you put normal water in your system, you’re just gonna gain the weight back.
I understand where they’re coming from. But what I’m telling you is, that’s not what the situation entails.
The situation is you likely have about eight pounds of water that you’re storing as a camel that you need to get off so that you feel lighter on your feet, and you feel less bloated so you can keep moving towards your ultimate goal weight range.
What About The Calorie Deficit?
So let’s say this person who is 200 pounds, and say 5’6″ right?
Now, let’s just say in the first six days, they take off 10 pounds. So they have 10 more pounds to go in two weeks.
Now you’re getting into calorie deficit.
The way that you situate your calories, protein, carbs, and fat, makes all the difference when you’re talking about dropping body fat.
The first step for people, even if they want to lose 20 lbs in 20 days, is to come to grips with the science of calories.
By controlling calories, that’s three pounds per week. First five or six days, whoosh! 10 pounds come off to get your water normal. Okay, boom.
Now what do you have? You’ve got 14 more days. Two weeks. You’ve got two weeks, okay? Three pounds. That’s six pounds you’re gonna lose due to calories.
You’re at 16 pounds.
You can lose 16 pounds, right, in 20 days.
But you’re four pounds short.
Where are you gonna get it?
By using ketosis, what I call nutritional ketosis. You need fibre and you need potassium along with a long list of vitamins and minerals. I know folks have got a weird idea of what it is. Basically, you control your carbohydrates, you control your sugars, and you make sure that you get your vitamins and minerals and electrolytes, so that you can feel good and not dizzy and weak and nauseous.
Four pounds we’ve got to get now for this person, right, in the example. If you do the ketosis, when you restrict carbohydrates, your body will change over to fat as its primary source of fuel. That, in essence, is called ketosis.
When you use ketosis, nutritional ketosis, you can push that math forward 15% or 20%. So that’ll get us another pound. So now we’re at 17 pounds.
Now, Alcohol. King Alcohol.
No! If you want to lose 20 lbs in 20 days, it ain’t gonna happen if you’re drinking.
Alcohol is 180 degrees from anything remotely close to 20 lbs in 20 days because it affects the liver. The calories, yes, but it’s not the calories that’s fucking you up. It’s the alcohol that has to be processed through the liver.
The liver is responsible for the stored fat on your hips, shoulders, arms, legs, wherever it is that you don’t like it. It’s responsible for taking that stored energy and turning it into usable energy. And anything you are doing to fuck with the liver inhibits the speed by which that can happen. So drinking is out if you want to lose 20 lbs in 20 days, in any notable weight loss programme.
Okay, so no alcohol. Now you’re pushing it forward to about 18 pounds.
Where are we gonna get that last two pounds?
You’re gonna have to burn it off.
So there’s going to have to be double workouts. You’re gonna have to do 10-12 double workouts sometime in that stretch of 20 days in order to push that last two pounds.
So, that is the process by which somebody would lose 20 pounds in 20 days.
Weight loss is so symbolic of so much shit.
It’s never about the weight loss.
It’s about the peace of mind.
It’s about the control.
It’s about the joy.
It’s about the divine vibration.
