What good am I if it’s just me sitting here talking about my programs?
Why should you care about these programs in the first place?
The truth is, because they WORK! Here are what some of the people I’ve worked with in the past have had to say.
And I’m not just cherry picking here. These results ARE TYPICAL, and you can experience them too!
I’ve struggled with my weight for years. I’ve tried all the different diets on the market and the results were short term but not long lasting.
My first thought when introduced to DK was to follow it just to see if there was a difference. I found the program to be a WHOLE experience. DK not only focused on what you eat, he really influenced and incorporated all the aspects of my life: work, family, spiritual, and fitness in order to create a foundation and bring balance to my life.
DK was behind me every day, even when I did everything wrong. The guidebook, the daily emails and texts, the video conferences, and the stalking were all a great help to keep me focused on my goals. He never gave up on me even when I clearly showed that I gave up on myself, he kept me focused, positive and changed my attitude.
It has been a whole experience to be part of this program. I never thought the results I achieved were possible. Thank you Dave for your daily support, guidance and motivation. I am a believer a nowI have made a lifestyle change forever that has begun to positively impact my family as well.
I’ve always worked out with the mentality “if I work out, I can eat more.” My husband has been training with David for a few years and RAVED about him as an ELITE trainer. Before my first session, I said I was excited to start but I’m not doing the food stuff.
BOY WAS I WRONG!
I walked in and couldn’t say no to DK’s program although I did negotiate to incorporate low sugar yogurt and super dark chocolate into my diet.
We started training in late April/early May for my wedding in September. Even David would say I was “clinically healthy” on day 1 but the goal was to transform my body into that of an athlete or “warrior princess.” I went from 21% to 13% body fat in about four months.
DK redefined accountability for my own health and I finally realized the effect of sugar and carbs. Between the “food stalking” via MyFitnessPal, pictures of the scale each morning, his never-the-same and challenging workouts, and regularly taking my body measurements, I was bound and determined to get in better shape. When the number on the scale would fluctuate slightly higher, he never made me feel bad explaining that it’s normal. His coaching through text, email, and in person is phenomenal.
Most importantly, his program is SUSTAINABLE and REALISTIC. Plus, I love the results and that has become my biggest motivator. I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been. I’ve found delicious, healthy recipes and still enjoy a cheat meal or frozen yogurt every week. As DK says, we are “TRAINING FOR LIFE” whether that is lifting a heavy box or being a mom and picking up kids.
Thanks DK I’m really pumped!! I’ve made a complete lifestyle change. I seriously could not have done it without your Fitness Stalking program. I really appreciate your support!!
Hey David! Just wanted to thank you for all of your support. I’ve gotten to my goal weight and I will continue work to improve my fitness. I really really am grateful for your guidance and support!
This has been amazing. Thank you so much! Still rehabbing knee, and still have some toning up to do. But I can’t believe the results and feel like I’ve made lifestyle changes that are borderline spiritual!
I really…really did not want to go on our Hawaii trip at 197lbs. I needed a plan and ridiculous accountability.
Thanks to Fitness Stalking, I have a fit body to take to Hawaii and beyond.
I haven’t been this weight in years. AWESOME!
Thank you my friend. I’ve been crossfitting for 6 years and this is the very first time I’ve learned how to eat…forever grateful
Feeling lean and strong! The daily accountability was the key! THANK YOU!
Thank YOU for all your support and especially for expecting more out of me than I thought possible at first.
What a feeling!! The most effective weight loss program I have ever done!
I’m sitting here at my desk, calves sore and body feeling a deep sense of recovery after my time at the gym this morning, writing about my experience with David King Fitness. I never would have guessed when starting that I’d eventually set my goals as high as they ended up.
In the beginning I only wanted to fit into my favorite jeans. The heavens would need to shake for me to someday wear those jeans again I thought! However, today I’d swim in those jeans. I’m way beyond the original goal and loving it.
Right now I’m right at single digit body fat, headed a little lower, and I crave the next fitness journey. I never would have thought this would be me. I’m 37 years old and I wish I would have obtained this new “fit guy” thing years earlier.
My story is that after my late twenties I became a couch potato as a way cope with stress. As our family grew, so did I. I went from a skinny guy to an obese guy that had earned his stretch marks in the stomach and leg region. I still have those. Oh, I think I lost most of my neck too.
My health conditions were starting to concern me. My main concerns were heart palpitations and the fact that many of my family have diabetes and heart conditions. I consumed lots of stimulates to keep me going everyday. I was strung out on a tremendous amount of coffee and carb rich junk food until late at night. At that time my fatness didn’t bother me as much as being tired all the time. I actually didn’t think I was fat until I lost a bunch of weight and looked back at the pictures. My first nudge was when a visiting nurse friend of mine carefully tried to tell me that I should consider losing weight. I remember thinking to myself “hmm, sounds like he thinks I’m fat, does he think I’m fat”? I sure didn’t.
I started attempting to lose weight for about three years before I met David. Each new extreme diet gave a little bump but I ultimately would slide back or quit the program early due to work reasons or some really good excuse. Yet still searching I heard a podcast where I found David. This was about 2 years ago.
The first program I did was the 21- day challenge with the daily emails, food plan and simple running and pushups program. From there I went on to a one-hundred-day program that he has. During that period, I learned through experience how to create my own workouts that would fit my day and that would be perfect for what I was trying to accomplish. That exercise imparted a deep ability to self motivate daily workouts. The daily emails were key. The simple food list made it easy, any changes I considered were David approved.
However, there was something missing. Even though each program I completed I would learn something new about myself, my diet and my life, it wasn’t until the following year that I would discover exactly what that missing thing was.
I finished all of his online programs and had good results. A few months later I slid back into my old habits. The stress of work and maybe an un-renewed mind limited my ability to see that having fitness, a family and a busy career were all possible at the same time. I thought it needed to be one or the other. I emailed David and asked for help once again. He had just started the Fitness Stalking Program. This was the missing link that made all the difference in the world for me.
It should also be mentioned that most of my “no time” misconceptions were really not true. Preparing food and feeling good takes less time than eating garbage and underperforming. David had tricks and compromises to help navigate most every situation.
Months passed and I still have never even met this guy! We just communicated daily, pursuing my goals through text and emails. The lessons I learned from the interaction were too many to mention. The reassurance when I had a question about diet or heart rate was a very big deal. Reassurance from a professional is crucial. He taught me how to recover from making a failure, how to navigate July 4th and family vacations. He was in my phone (so to speak) while I was at Disney World enjoying myself. He gave us the most helpful tips! My family did not suffer on vacation. I gained 6 pounds over a week, didn’t feel like garbage doing it, and loved it! I of course lost the extra weight the following few weeks of training.
The big revelation for me that was a defining moment in my personal change was that David himself continues to find things that inspire him to motivate himself forward. Fat loss and fitness is not a casual under-taking, it is very intentional. I found that I too, needed to continue to be inspired by something to stay intentional.
At first it was running just one obstacle course race and finishing, (that was my first race ever). Then I finished four races that year, the last race I was in the top 5% of other men my age over 14 miles in the mud and finished all the upper body strength obstacles (climbing ropes) like a champ. Today it’s long distance running and weight lifting for body composition changes. Now I shop for clothes that will show off my physique instead of hide it, (I’ve never been motivated by vanity), but hey showing it off is a side benefit!
What’s the next thing I’ll be inspired to do? I don’t know but what I do know is that finding the next inspiration has been key for me and each time I find a new thing David King can guide, encourage and support it through fitness stalking!
What are the keys that made it all possible? Having a program that is simple, believe that the program IF followed will get you there, and the most important part is to have daily accountability from someone that you respect and that inspires you! Your best friend probably won’t do the job for you.
David, the impact has gone so much further than anticipated and I couldn’t have done it without you man!
